Mrs Jordan was a housewife, a member of Bibles Chapel Baptist Church and Bulls Gap VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law: Phyllis Day of Midway, Debby and Rex Shipley of Greene County; grandchildren: Mickey Brown and spouse Maria of Greene County, Holly Weems and spouse Bob of White Pine, Crystal Day of Johnson City, Tammy Harris and spouse Billy and Angela Ricker and spouse Lynn of Greene County; great grandchildren: Caleb and Tucker Brown, Justin and Bailey Pinkston, Avery and Kayle Weems, Heather Ricker, Brandon Harris; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Steve and Dorie Brannon of Atlanta, Georgia and George and Martha Brannon of Greene County; sister: Willie Ruth “Toby” Beach of Greene County; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Roosevelt and Kay Jordan of Jefferson City, Hank and Mickey Jordan of Talbot, Bernice Zampedri and Bea Jordan of Greeneville; several nieces and nephews; and special friends: Tom and Coleen Lawson of Greene County, Mary Schultz, Kenny Pinkston, Kenneth O’Dell, and friends and neighbors.
She was a daughter of the late Earl and Marie Lowe Brannon and was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Jordan, and a brother, Clarence Brannon.
The family will receive friends at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.
The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 27, 2011 in Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel with Rev. Junior Shipley and Rev. Kevin Wisecarver officiating.
Interment will follow in Fairview Baptist Cemetery.
Her pallbearers will be Mickey Brown, Gene Witt, Kenny Pinkston, Justin Pinkston, John Brannon,and Bob Weems.
Her nephews, friends, and neighbors will serve as honorary pallbearers.
