Angela L. Humphreys Crum

She was an employee of Forward Air for the past 25 years.

Angela was a member of First Church of God, where she was a dedicated teacher and was actively involved with all church activities. Angela was a loving and Godly mother, daughter, sister, and aunt. She fought a three and half year battle with melanoma cancer. Her faith never wavered through this battle. She told her family not to be mad at God because He is good.

Survivors include her children: Hayley Brooke and Dustin Allen Crum; mother: Linda J. Humphreys; twin sister and brother-in-law: Amanda and Chris Gosnell; brother and sister-in-law: Chuck and Michelle Humphreys; sister-in-law: Anita Ricker, who was like her sister; brother-in-law and wife: Mike and Julia Crum; nieces and nephews: Logan Humphreys, Makayla and Hunter Gosnell, Casey and Ryan Ward, Heath and Rachel Crum; great-nephews: Zander and Carson Ward; father-in-law and wife: Gene and Annette Crum; aunts and uncles: Naomi and Hugh Bowman, Bert and Bea Yates, R.B. and Clara Humphreys, Teddy and Vivian Humphreys, Colleen and Fred Daniels; several cousins including a special cousin: Lisa Bowman McKinney; and her special friends: Rhonda Gefellers, Mechelle Brooks, Trisha Fleenor, Sherry Cutler, Joy Farris, Patti Gwinn, Angela Crawford Hubbard, Amy Luttrell, and all her co-workers at Forward Air.

She was the daughter of the late Rex Humphreys and was preceded in death by her husband, David Allen Crum; grandparents, Bill Williams, Pauline Williams Hudgens, Grady and Irene Crum, Trula Brown, Ray and Hazel Humphreys; mother-in-law, Mary Lou Crum; and brother-in-law, Starlen Ricker, Jr.

The family will receive friends 1-7 pm Wednesday at First Church of God.

Following visitation the funeral service will be held at 7 pm Wednesday at First Church of God with Pastors Gerald Rudd, Nathan Leasure, and Stephen Aiken officiating.

Interment will be at 11 am Thursday in River Hill Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at 10 am Thursday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home to go in procession to the cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Mell Malone, Fred Wilhoit, Lynn Hope, Lloyd “Shorty” Harmon, Patrick Gwinn, Robert Taylor, Michael Harrell and Randy Baxley.

Honorary Pallbearers are Dr. Igor Puzanov, Dr. Dharmen Patel, Dr. John Boys, and Dr. Charles Montgomery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Church of God Building Fund or to Locust Springs Christian Retreat Center.
