Samuel Thomas Goad Jr.

Samuel was born in Monrovia, IN, on March 11, 1932, the son of Samuel T. Goad Sr. and Mariah Belle (Estes) Goad.

On Dec. 15, 1951, Samuel married the love of his life, Uldene Beverly (Rooze) Goad.

He was a veteran in the US Army and was a member of New Life Baptist Church. As well as a member of the Carpenters Union Local #859 of Greencastle.

Survivors include his two sons, Kevin D. Goad of Dugger and Keith D. Goad (wife Tracey) of Reelsville; three daughters, Kathy D. Clements (husband James) of Martinsville, Karen D. Cash (husband Kenneth) of Cloverdale and Karla D. Brasher of Greencastle; sister, Hazel Estes; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, and parents; two brothers, Edgar and Harris Goad; two sisters Irene Henderson, and Ruby Clodfelter

Services will be held on November 7th 2024 at 1pm at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Blaydes officiating. Visitation will be held from 11am until time of service.

Burial in Center Valley Cemetery will take place at a later date.
