Rebecca E Sprinkle

She was born June 16, 1932 in Perry County, IN, the daughter of Alvin and Dora R. (Koch) Garland and was a graduate of Birdseye High School, Birdseye, IN.

Becky retired from PR Mallory’s where she had been a line supervisor and later retired from Walmart, where she had worked as an associate for several years. She was a member of Rebekah Lodge and of the Fillmore Christian Church for several years.

She is survived by her children, Linda Kay Vermillion, Elizabeth R. Petrarca, and James A. (Patty) Sprinkle; a brother, Carl Garland; grandchildren, Patricia Hanks, Jody McCullough, Tina Huff, Judy McCullough, Anthony (Kristine) Petrarca, James (Lindsey) Sprinkle Jr., and Erin Sprinkle; and 22 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion A. Sprinkle; a son, Wayne K. Sprinkle; parents; and siblings, Annabelle, Copper, Berdean, James, Jewel, and Frank.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Fillmore Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, March 28th at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made in Becky’s memory to the American Cancer Society.
