Norma Lois Humphrey

Norma Lois Humphrey, 85 of Danville, formerly of Greencastle, passed away on Friday, June 19, 2020, at Danville Regional Rehabilitation Center.
Norma was born in Putnam County on July 12, 1934, the daughter of Clarence and Arlie (Starwalt) Harvey, and was a graduate of Greencastle High School. She also received her CNA through Ivy Tech College.
Mrs. Humphrey worked as a CNA with Danville Regional Rehabilitation center for many years. She also worked as office manager of the Water, Sewer, and Sanitation Department for the City of Brazil for 8 years; as well as, managed and operated the A to Z Store in Brazil for several years.
She was a member of Moriah Apostolic Tabernacle in Clermont.
Survivors include grandsons, Bobby Humphrey, (wife-Emily), Indianapolis and Corey Humphrey, Terre Haute; two great-grandchildren, Cole and Carter Humphrey; a sister-in-law, Deloris Harvey, Mishawaka; dear friends, Phil and Betty Scholle, Greenwood; companion, Elgie Sanders; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded by her parents; a son, Richard W. “Rick” Humphrey; a sister, Waneta Neeley; and three brothers, Wayne Harvey, Robert “Buck” Harvey, and Clarence “Jake” Harvey.
Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, June 25, 2020, at Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home. Visitation will be held one hour prior to time of service on Thursday.
