Born December 10, 1948 in Putnam County the son of Paul E. and Ruth Naomi (Chew) Aubrey and they preceded him in death. Nick was a 1966 graduate of Reelsville High School. Nick married Martha S. (Hatt) Aubrey and she survives.
Nick served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He retired in 2013 from the Putnam County Highway Department.
Survivors include his wife, Martha; a daughter, Vicki L. (Brian) Morgan; grandchildren, Jeremy L. (Jennifer) Western, Daniel M. Western & fiancée Melissa Farley, Nathan J. Kendall & girlfriend, Katherine Horn, and Lynn N. Morgan; two great grandchildren, Haley Lynn & Jadin Lee Western; a sister, Paula Jane Armstrong; and a cousin, Judy Chew McFarland.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Tuesday, August19, 2014 at the Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be held at 3:30 PM on Tuesday, August 19th at the Boone-Hutcheson Cemetery.
