Born January 14, 1950 in Crawfordsville, Indiana to Harold and Ruby (Lindamood) Hayes. She was a 1968 graduate of Crawfordsville High School. She married her husband Stanley on October 20, 1974. He passed away May 9, 2017.
She retired from R. R Donnelley after 36 years as an Administrative Assistant where she met her husband of 43 years. She was employed for three years at Cox Electric in Greencastle as an Office Manager.
Marsha enjoyed traveling with her family. She and her husband toured ten European countries, Mexico and the United States. She enjoyed shopping, cooking, and genealogy. She loved spending time with her family and dancing with Stanley at the New Year's. eve dances. She loved singing and was an octave 4 soprano. She sang in the Crawfordsville Community Chorus. Her interests were flower gardening (especially roses). She was knowledgeable in television and movie star trivia. She had a recipe for fudge that her family and friends enjoyed to receive at Christmas time.
Marsha was an Elvis Presley fan and in 1972 she got to attend his concert at the Pepsi Coliseum in Indianapolis. She also loved several cats she had throughout her marriage.
Past memberships include: Clinton Falls Community Church, Crawfordsville American Legion Auxiliary, Crawfordsville Business & Professional Women's organization.
She is survived by daughters Jamee Scobee of Indianapolis and Loree Dulin (Scott) of Clay City. Also, grandchildren Stanley and Ellie Dulin, a sister Debra Thompson of Westfield, Indiana and nephew Paul Thompson of Sydney, Australia.
She was proceeded in death by sister Jane, parents, husband, and brother-in-law George Thompson.
Cremation was chosen with private burial at the Clinton Falls Cemetery alongside her husband.
