James Eugene Stevens II

James Eugene “Jimmy” Stevens II, 45, of Greencastle passed away Friday, June 30, 2023 at his residence. Jimmy was born in Greencastle on September 12, 1977, the son of James Eugene and Frances (Campbell) Stevens, and was a 1996 graduate of Greencastle High School. Mr. Stevens II was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. He had worked for Wal-Mart Distribution Center, Chiyoda, and Crown Equipment. Jimmy was an avid Chicago Cubs and Bears fan, he loved dogs and liked Formula 1 Racing. Most of all, Jimmy was a believer in his Savior Jesus Christ. Survivors include his mother, Frances Stevens-Reed; a sister, Jennifer Stevens; a brother, Jeffrey Reed; an uncle, George Stevens, (Cindy); two aunts, Cindy Campbell, and Rosann Campbell; and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, four uncles, Russell and David Campbell, and Wayne and Michael Stevens; his paternal grandparents, Eugene and Hazel Stevens; and his maternal grandparents Howard and Alletha Campbell. Memorial Services will be held 5:00 p.m. Friday, July 14, 2023, at Antioch Baptist Church with Dr. Mark Smith officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
