Born January 29, 1939 in Plymouth, IN the daughter of Ernest and Mabel (Kepler) Samuels and was a graduate of Plymouth High School.
Esther had retired from Jim Dandy Restaurant where she had worked as a cook in Elwood and Tipton for several years.
She was a member of the E. Main Street Wesleyan Church, Elwood and a life time member of the Moose Lodge. Esther loved to play bingo and was an avid Colts and NASCAR fan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Amos “Whitey” White; her parents; and sons, Bruce & Paul White.
Esther is survived by her daughter Cindy (Tony) Ryan; granddaughters Amber (Allen) Wheeler, A.J. (Ryan) Goldsby and Alyssa (Bobby) Horrall and great grandchildren Corbin, Julien, Finn and Amelia.
Esther had requested cremation with no services at this time. Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
