Christi and Dunkin, we are in shock and speechless.  We were in Canada when we learned the news, or we would be there.  We will remember Eric just as he is in the photo you chose...always with a huge smile on his face.  He was such a good dad—always so involved. Halloween won’t be the same without him this year.  It’s so, so very sad.  

I was so so sorry to read the news in the paper today, Christi. I don't even know what to say. I wish I knew Eric. I'll be thinking of you and Dunkin in the days ahead and hoping you will call on me if there's anything I can do. Much love, Barb

Jan and I were so saddened to hear of Eric's sudden passing. Please know that we are keeping all of Eric's family and loved ones in our prayers during this time. May God bring you peace and strength through His grace in the days ahead. 

Christi....I am so sorry to hear of your loss.  As you know, I can really relate to how difficult this time is.  Keep your faith in Jesus and you will get through this.  If you need anything and I do mean anything, you can call me and I'll help in whatever way you need even if it is just a shoulder to cry on.  I didn't know Eric, but from everything I've heard and read about him and just the mere fact that you married him tells me he must have been a terrific man.  My condolences to you and your family. 

Precious Eric, I recall you most as a child ,little boy and young teen, and then time, circumstance, and geography separated us until you were an adult, married to precious Christie  and father of dear Dunkin.  You were the smartest kid I’ve ever encountered. At age 3 or 4, when you’ were  out in California with us, you baffled me with your ability to play the game “concentration”.  So smart, so adorable, so loving and so congenital and easy to be around. And then I met you as an adult, and you hadn’t changed a bit. I pray you are with God in heaven, and with Grandma and Grandpa,, your mom and your dad  and, Dawn Adair,, who none of us got to meet. Enjoy a dance with your older sister in heaven, and eventually we’ll  dine at His table together, then get up and dance together, in joy and reunion, before  Him. My father just called to tell me of Eric’s passing.  I can’t believe it!  I was inundated by so many memories.  There was so much of my high school years that included Eric.  He gave me rides to and from school in that old, red truck of his.  One afternoon, I was waiting for him at the truck.  He told me we were giving someone else a ride too.  I scooted over & sat in the middle, only to find out they weren’t just friends.  They had started dating and I sat between them!  We got a laugh out of that later.  There are so many memories...  He was kind, gentle and such a good guy.  He was a close, trusted friend.  I’m so sorry for this profound loss.

I’m at a complete loss for words. I am so sorry Cristy and Dunkin. Eric was amazing. Your family has made so many great memories for Collin and I will forever be grateful.
