Born March 27, 1943 in Greencastle, he was the son of Homer and Mary Ester (Stanley) Williams. He married Bernnetta (Highsmith) Williams on June 1, 1963 and she survives.
David was a truck driver for Cash Concrete for 31 years, retiring in 1998. He was a member of the Cloverdale Nazarene Church.
He is survived by his wife, Bernnetta Williams; sons, Homer Williams and Ron (Amber) Williams; a daughter, Shelly (Todd) Heuser, sisters, Linda (Roy) Morrisett and Dorothy (Ed) Merrill; five grandchildren, Caleb, Danielle, Will, Ashley, and Dave; and a great grandson, Eyian Isaac.
He was preceded in death by his parents and four sisters, Mary, Helen, Edna, and Kay.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, May 22, 2015 at the Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home with interment to follow at the Forest Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday, May 21st at the funeral home.
