Born July 26, 1958, in Greencastle the son of Charles G. and Louise M. (Shaner) York. He was a graduate of Greencastle High School “Class of 1976”.
Chucky had worked at the Tobacco Barn; delivered prescriptions for Greg Selvia Pharmacy; and at the Putnam County Highway Department. He was a member of the Moose Lodge, Greencastle.
He was preceded death by his parents; sister & brother-in-law Judith & Dan Cook, nieces Margaret Smith, Alisha Kay & Laura Stitzle.
Chucky is survived by his sisters Beverly (Jerry) Fislar and Patricia (Henry) Stitzle; brother Jack York; nieces and nephews Holly Smith, Kaitlin Fislar, Chris Douglas, Jessie Boller, Henry Stitzle Jr., Marybeth McKinney, Traci Boice, Lori Siddons, Dan Cook, and Sara English; several great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Chucky never knew a stranger; he always had a friendly smile and hello to share.
A Celebration of Life will be held later at a later date.
