Cary "R. Wood" Robin Wood

Born March 6, 1956 in Greencastle, he was the son of William Alva and Karen (Birt) Wood. He married Donna J. (Cundiff) Wood on October 26, 1978 and she survives.

Cary had worked at Dixie Chopper for three years and previously worked at Lobdell Emory for over 28 years. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of the V.F.W. Cary was a former member of the Moose and Eagles Lodges. He was out going and enjoyed working in his vegetable and flower gardens.

Cary is survived by his wife, Donna; children, Cari Lynn (Chris Hutto) Wood, Isaac Lee (Erin) Wood, and Ashlee Marie (Ronald Shillings) Miller; parents, Alva and Karen Wood; brother, Loren (Deb) Wood; sisters, Kassie Burns and Monice; in-laws, Charles and Geraldine Cundiff; brother-in-law, Doug (Kim) Cundiff; grandchildren, Andrea Nicole, Adrienne Marie, & Andrew Robin Bills, Audrey Brown, Peyton Lee Wood, Kyle Joseph & Nicholas Ryan Miller.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, March 17, 2014 at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home. Interment with military honors will follow at the Forest Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Sunday, March 16th at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home.
