Barbara Jean Fisher

Barbara was born in Escanaba, Michigan on January 23, 1933, the daughter of Arthur Eugene and Jeanette Cecilia (Herbert) Mayville, and was a graduate of Ben Davis High School.

Mrs. Fisher worked for 17 years in Research Filing with Eli Lilly Company. She was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church.

Survivors include two children, Jean Marie Fisher-Cannon, (husband-John), and Steven Lee Fisher, (Candy); a sister, Maxine Marie Tex, (husband-Jerry); five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; a great-great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harold L. Fisher; and a son Danny Harold Fisher.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 21, 2022 at St. Paul of the Apostle Catholic Church with Father John Hollowell officiating. Visitation will start at 10:00 a.m. at the church; with a Rosary to be held at 10:20 a.m. Burial will follow Mass in Stilesville Cemetery.
