Wilma Jean Lewis

Growing up, Wilma’s family relocated from Wyoming, to Greeley, Colorado, to San Diego, California, where she graduated from Clairemont High School in 1962. Wilma attended the Bayview General Hospital School of Practical Nursing and received her degree in 1963. She began her employment as a practical nurse in Greeley, Colorado. She worked for AON Worker’s Compensation Insurance Company for over 20 years in San Diego, California. Wilma returned to Greeley for her retirement in 2015. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend.

She attended the LDS Church in Johnstown and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was an avid reader, loved music, crocheting and had an appreciation for fine art.

Wilma is survived by her son, Chad Lewis, and daughter-in-law, Antionette Lewis and her grandson, Anthony Lewis.

She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Wilma, siblings, Darrell Sigmon, Dale Sigmon, Georgia Bower and June Walsh.
