Nadine was born March 8, 1927 to Zua and John Annan in Greeley, Colorado. She was raised on the family farm outside of LaSalle. She married Jerry Monroe on September 29, 1946. They had 64 wonderful years together!

Teaching elementary school was her passion. She taught 32 years at Beebe Draw School, LaSalle Elementary, and Hanson Elementary in District 14. She touched many lives and had a positive impacted on all of her students.

Her life was her family! She lived for her husband, her four children, their spouses, and grandchildren. All of the family will miss her dearly!

Nadine is survived by her husband Jerry Monroe, daughters Nancy Ludwig and her husband Steve of Platteville, Marilu Land and her husband Galyn of Littleton, sons Jerry Monroe and his wife Jacquie of Kersey, and Steve Monroe of Colorado Springs, and eleven grandchildren, Mike Ludwig, John Ludwig, Rich Ludwig, Kym Fobian, Julie Ford, Christy Monroe, Ken Ludwig, Brian Land, Alaina Monroe, Kyle Monroe, and Mark Land.

Memorial service will be graveside at Sunset Memorial Gardens, December 28th at 1:00 PM. A luncheon and celebration of her life will follow at the Evans Community Complex.
