Vivian F. Harris of Evans died Monday, August 16, 2010 at Fairacres Manor in Greeley. She was born on December 9, 1921 in Jefferson, Colorado to James and Tillie (Keiler) Ford. She graduated from Florence High School.
On November 17, 1949, she married Wilbur “Pete” Harris in Annawan, Illinois. Vivian was a school lunch room cook for many years. She retired from the Ault Schools. She was a lifetime member of the Pierce Moose Lodge and V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary of Evans.
Vivian loved music, reading, playing cards and Bingo. She loved all gambling trips and enjoyed her Red Hatter Organization.
Many people throughout her life called her Mom or Grandma Vivian. She loved spending time with her family and her friends at Centennial Village where she resided and the Pierce and Ault Senior Citizen Centers.
She is survived by her daughters Patricia (Richard) Boyer of Evans, Colorado. Debra Harris and Gary Finch of Greeley and son-in-law, David Lieuallen of Eaton; sister Betty Delzer of Dallas, Texas; brothers Jack Ford of Estes Park and Clifford Ford of Broomfield; 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband; parents; daughter Peggy Lieuallen; brother Jim and sister Violet.
Visitation 4-7 p.m. today at Stoddard Funeral Home. Funeral service 10 a.m. Thursday at Stoddard Funeral Home. Interment Sunset Memorial Gardens.
