To Tom's relatives and friends: I worked closely with Tom while I designed the 1973 edition to the Montfort packing plant. Leroy Johnson was the plant manager and Tom was the operations superintendent. Tom was a wonderful guy to be around and work with. He also had a great sense of humor, always pulling a trick or two. He was sensible and practical. He was well founded for his duties due to his deep experience. I think of him often, even to this day.

I have thought of this man hundreds of time over the years. I designed the 1973 Major addition to the Monfort Packing Plant with Tom's and Leroy Johnson's help and guidance. Tom was a wonderful man to work with. I liked him so much, I built him a scale model of a Monfort cattle shipping truck.He was a wonderful man.

I just read about Tom's passing.  I'm so sorry to hear that.  Jim counted you and your Dad as friends until his passing 2 1/2 yrs. ago. I've moved to Aurora to be close to our sons. You take care of yourself.

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Uncle Tom. I enjoyed our family time we spent during Grandma Weiler's illness.  I will keep you in my thoughts & prayers.  Your Cousin - Mollie (Weiler) Mertens (Glen's daughter)

I am sad to hear about the death of Tom  I know that we had lost contact over the years, but regardless I still remember him as a very kind man that my dad loved very much.  I wish your family peace through this difficult time, and please do not hesitate to contat me if there is anything that myself or anyone in my family can do.
