Thomas Rebeterano, 81, of Kersey, passed away, Wednesday, January 31 at Northern Colorado Medical Center. He was born December 21, 1936 in Canyon City, Colorado. He moved with his family to Kersey, Colorado in 1971.
Thomas is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mabel Rebeterano; daughter, Terry “Lu” Laughmiller (Tom) of Independence, Missouri; son, Thomas, Jr. “Dobo” (Nellie) and daughter, Rosie “Doba” Zamora (Noe) both of Kersey, son, Felix “Tanto” of Greeley, and daughter, Cora “Brat” Meier (Walter) of Bemidji, Minnesota; 9 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren; brother Paul “Tento” Rebeterano of Pueblo, Colorado, and three beloved pets, Tootie, Shelby, and Sparky.
Visitation will be at Stoddard Funeral Home, 3205 W. 28th Street, Greeley, Colorado, on Tuesday, February 6, from 5-7 pm. Funeral services will be at Greeley First Church of the Nazarene, 2515 W. 16th Street, Greeley, Colorado, Wednesday, February 7, beginning 11am with a graveside service to follow at Linn Grove Cemetery. A lite lunch will be served at the church after the interment.
Thomas was preceded in death by four brothers and six sisters and one beloved pet Brownie.
