I just heard the news of Steve's passing.  His kindness, generosity, and wisdom will be greatly missed.  It is because of him that I went to the Harvard Graduate School of Education.  He has mentored many of us and is responsible for much of the good work being done in the world today!  You were a great man, Steve.  May you rest in peace!
