Stepheni C. Holden

She graduated highschool in Barnard, SD in 1958, and graduated college from the Northern State Teachers College in Aberdeen in 1962, after which she became a middle school math teacher in Winnemucca, Nevada. She moved to Greeley in 1970, where she raised her three daughters. She returned to school to earn a master’s degree in education at the University of Northern, CO and worked as a teacher in Karval, CO prior to retiring and becoming an Avon sales representative in Estes Park and a grandmother to three. She is known for her independent spirit, humor, love of learning, great sense of adventure and unique perspective on life.

Surviving are her children Heather (Holden) Bandi, Michelle Holden; grandchildren Priyam and Mallika Bandi, and Joci Needham; sisters Lavonne Hagarty, Denise Mavers, and Kim Meidinger.

She was predeceased by her daughter Francine T. Holden.

A Visitation will be from 8:30-9:30 a.m. Thursday, November 9, 2023 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. both at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 915 12th Street, Greeley, CO. A Committal service will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
