So sorry to hear about the loss of your father and husband.  I remember him so well, growing up in Grover, attending all the games and coming in to the lumber yard for occasional business.  He always had a sparkle in his eye.  Sounds as if the Lord blessed you in that he lived a good, long life.  May you be comforted at this time

Ruth and family--We are so sorry to hear about Sam. I know he will be missed. We remember such good times when we were neigbors. Sam alway got such a kick out of our little ones. Remember the times you would call and tell me I had 2 little boys going to Grandma's up the high way. Don't we wish for those times again. Such good memories.

I have so many fond memories of my grandpa.  One that really makes me smile is right before I got married.  We were sitting at the table at my mom and dad's house and I was showing everyone my veil.  Somehow, we got grandpa to try on my veil and engagement ring.  He looked so ""pretty""!  Mom and I looked at that picture this morning...it's something I will always remember.  I'm so thankful that he got to meet his two great granddaughters.  I'm sure they'll grow up hearing lots of stories about this wonderful man.  I'll miss you, grandpa and look forward to seeing you again.

Sam was nice and funny to me and he will be missed.Me and Lela and Holly got to visit ith Sam while over at my Sisters house on special occations Sam was always teasing me about welding seeing if i could weld like i said i could.He will be missed i regret that i didnt see him for the last two years as i moved to mo in 10-2006 so the last time i saw him was 12-2005 at the last get together at Don and Judys Place.Sam your were a great friend to us.He will be missed.We know that this will be the finale destenation for all of us.Sam may Our loving God be with you in Heaven
