Happy Birthday my Chana..I keep waiting for you to walk in the door:( I miss you so much.. all I have is when I can dream about you.And I know that i will hold you again. God took you from me way to early..

It's almost your birthday, Chana, and I am thinking of you today. I am especially remembering you as a small child walking on the wooden beam in your front yard with a big grin on your face.

I only recently learned of Sadako's passing, and I am heartbroken at her loss.  I knew Sadako in high school, and while I lost touch with her after I graduated, I thought about her often.  Sadako was such a joy!  In the two years I knew her, I never saw her frown.  She was such a good, loyal friend, and she brought a lot of joy to everyone around her.  My condolences for your great loss.

Sadoako was definately a strong influence throughout my life and throughout my sisters lives also, as being a kid, it was really difficult to lose you role model,and a true friend, Sadako always had a positive attitude and always made the right decisions and put others before herself, rest in peace our Angel

Sadako and I had been friends since junior high, she surprised me once, taking me to Young Life, when I was so far away from the church. We went to homecomings together in highschool and was always such a good friend. It is unfortunate that we lost touch over the past two years. She will be greatly missed.

I grew up with Bobbi and when I met beautiful Chana she was about 6 years old. I always knew her as the playful,talkative little girl....In my heart that is always the way I will remember her as she is free to be that way now and forever.

Sadako had the kindest, most generous, loving and accepting heart. I knew her when I was teaching at Preston; she was my little buddy!  Even though we only knew each other for a few months, I've never, ever forgotten her sweet and genuine disposition.  I've only just learned of her passing; it's breaking my heart.  I wish that I had had a chance to see her once more and tell her how much her kindness impacted me.  She is sorely missed....

We loved knowing such a sweet, bright, delightful child, and we were really enjoying watching her become a lovely young woman. Heaven has a beautiful new flower for His Garden.  I will miss her calls and seeing her around.

My condolences to the family of Chana. We had talked in the chat room and in messages and she was such a sweet girl. Chana is now released from this world of Pain and suffering and at peace now. Oh young one, my mother says to me always, the young should not die before the old.  How beautiful a young woman you had turned into.  I didn't know you as the rest did, but in scripture it says ""OH death where is thy sting?""  You know longer have to worry about that, you're not suffering, crying, mourning...you're at peace.

I did not know Chana but i have a dear friend ,Lisa, that knew her very well. Lisa met her online. I have heard so many great things about Chana. I know she will be missed but am sure she is an angel looking down on everyone. Prayers for all her family and friends

Although Sadako was in a great deal of pain, she was able to give and support others.  I originally met her in ""back chat"" and then had the opportunity to have ""Blue"" in a support group that I started.  I remember how she wanted to become a doctor so bad.  She will be greatly missed.  I know she is with the angels now and not in any pain.  I send my condolensces to her family.

My husband Phil and I were so saddened when we heard you passed away.We both remember you still so clearly as a small, beautiful and very intelligent darling girl.  I remember when you told your Mom (my best friend) that you always wanted to stay at Mrs. Kings house.Chana we always remembered how blessed you were with your Mom, Dad and Bobbie.  Phil and I always enjoyed coming over to your families house, it was a fun one.  Recently I stopped at the mall to visit with your Mom. She mentioned to me that you were working at Eddie Bauer.I regret that I never had the chance to stop by.  Kandy (her Mom) told me how she turned out to be a wonderful adult and how she wanted to be a surgeon.I was not surprised by anything she told me as she was very intelligent.Chana you were always a ""star"" and now you are a ""STAR"" with God.

Blue turtle Lwould call her sis.L first started talking to  blue in the back chat room,she was a very  special person.After a while she would call me on the phone  and  she would  talk to my son Nathan  he loved talking to her so much.L could always tell if she was hurting but she was always  worried about me. Words can never express the loss that you must be feeling.  Chana had a way of making all around her feel good and happy, which made my day whenever she was around.  She may be in a better place, but she left us with a large empty void that will never be filled.  God took home one of the really nice people that loved life and helped others love their life as well.  Saying she will be missed is an understatement; she blessed all of us that knew her and we all came to love her. I feel lucky to have known such a wonderful young woman.

I knew your daughter only briefly, but the love and joy of life just shone through her.  You were truly blessed by God to have had such a joyful and giving young woman.

You are the most understanding, kind, and caring person I have ever met. You were the most joyful person. I have known you for the past 7 years and I won't ever forget a day. There are  millions of ways that everyone will remember you but the most meaningful and personality showing is this. :) A loooong time ago, I met you and we went to younglife.  We went up snowboarding as a group. I had no clue what I was doing, and you taught me how. You took me under your wing and helped me learn to fly just as we all know you are doing now. There are no goodbyes knowing that we will all see you again!! :D

Blue Turtle"" as some of us knew her by will be missed dearly.  She was a strong young lady who had a life time of battles.  Her battles are now over and she can be painfree with her Maker now.  I am sure she will be bringing smiles to the faces up above as she did here for so many of us.
Our prayers are with her family.  Even though Sadako was only with us 19 short years she touched many people's life and always tried to encourage and help people.

Today we printed out pictures of Sadako so we can see her smiling face and sparkly eyes. She brought love to our family this summer when she visited. All our pets adored her and piled up on the bed with her at night. They loved her and the attention. She loved that they all loved her too. She floated in the pool with me during the heatwave. We ate sushi and chinese. She loved mint chip ice cream. We laughed alot and went to the winery evenings to see Shakesphere's 'Mid Summer Nights Dream'. Sadako was taken pictures with three cameras. WOW she was GOOD with a camera!  We are truly blessed for the time we had with Sadako. When we think of Sadako we think of the blessings she shared with her family and friends.

Sadako will be missed terribly. She was a rock for me during Sophomore year of high school and I will never forget her. She stuck by me thru thick and thin, never failing to lend a shoulder to cry on or the words to make me laugh. Even when we grew apart as the years went by, she never failed to be the one who would brighten my day by smiling and saying hi as we passed in the hallways. She was an amazing young woman and I will miss her, but I know she is in a better place. Sadako, I can't wait till I see you again someday. Make sure they still have pink angel wings for me. :)

My youngest couldn't say her name so she called her 'taco'. She will truly be missed by all of us that knew her. She changed my life in many ways. She was a true angel.

I am a teacher at Liberty Common School and was blessed by Sadako's friendship for the last 5 years.  During that time, she shared her heart with me on many occasions.  We laughed about the silliness of teenagers and cried together on several occasions as well.  She wrote beautiful poetry for me and she provided a role model to my own 4 children showing them what it means to truly love God and be a responsible young woman.  She came to my 2nd grade class several times during my teaching of Japan to share the story of Sadako and the 1000 paper cranes.  The kids just loved that she had the same name as the character in the story! She folded a crane for every single child in my class! After she left Liberty, we still got together on occasion to have lunch downtown or just to visit on the phone.  On occasion she would pop into my classroom in the afternoons wearing her scrubs just to say ""hello"".  I was always so impressed with her ambition and spirit-filled desire to help others whether through her sports trainer role or as a friend.  She spent time with my family at church and at our home and joined us for my husband's surprise birthday party 2 years ago.  My children adored her and I felt honored that she chose me as a friend. As a teacher, I have been blessed with a profession that has allowed me to meet hundreds of wonderful young people, but Sadako will always stand out because of her genuine love for God and others. To her parents...I pray that you may feel the loving and comforting arms of Jesus around you and that you can rest in Him, knowing that your daughter has gone home to be with Him.
