I recently found out that Bob had passed and my heart dropped to my feet. Bob was such a big spirit. He was always happy and full of joy.  In the past when I  worked with Bob we could talk forever just about our dogs and their shenanigans and laugh with true love over the joy we received from our furry children.  He even made work not be as difficult by making you laugh.  Although we lost touch the last few years. I wont forget him for he was a person you cant forget. Dear Brenda and Larson/Smith Family,

Bob was so fortunate to be taken in by your family.  You showed Bob so much love and cared for him in his time of true need.  You were all so giving and supportive of him and I am so thankful he had you all to lean on during the last battle of his life.  You were his family and a true Godsend. Bob helped save my life. Quite literally. When I met him, I was yellow and I looked like I was eight months pregnant because of my failing liver. My feet were so swollen, I couldn't even wear shoes. Bob took pity on me. I had fallen and he helped me up. He sat and spoke with me and I remember him telling me that "you were in the front row when death was speaking to you about your drinking, you know you can never return. I'll help you make sure you won't ever feel that same fear." He put me in his Tuesday evening "Elite Advanced Recovery" group and I saw him every Tuesday for almost two years, as well as monthly meetings. Bob loved what he did and I could confide in him about anything without him passing judgement. If not for him and his encouragement and enlightenment, I wouldn't be alive today. He was always the strong and silent sufferer. I am so blessed to have known him. Thank you Bob, for touching my life and so many others. My sincere condolences to his family and loved ones. Thank you for sharing Bob's time with all of us. 

Robert was a beautiful soul.  I worked with Robert at DHS and was sad when he left.  He was so fun to be around and his humor and laughter was contagious. He knew how to be inclusive and kind and that was a wonderful gift. I am sure he will share his gifts in the afterlife until we all meet again.  I am glad to have known him and wish his family the peace of heart and mind, as they think about all the fun adventures that he can now go on, not being tied to a body.     

Even though I have never meet Robert in person, I have known Linda for a number of years, and she has always spoken so highly of him.  My heart goes out to his wife, sister and nephews, niece and all his friends.
