Robert attended High School at Greeley Central High School and graduated with the class of 1987. Following High School Robert began his career in Construction. He worked everything from the ground up; pouring cement for the foundation, framing the building, to finishing it off with roofing. Robert did it all. When not working Robert had many hobbies. Though his true love shown through in working on cars. His pride and joy as a young man was his 1970 Monte Carlo. Robert loved collecting many things, but his pride was his extensive coin collection. Robert would never turn down a day outside; fishing, working in his yard or just soaking up the rays. Robert was a family man through and through. He loved eating meals with his whole family sitting around the table. His family included his two purebred Chihuahua's and one Dachshund/ Chihuahua mix. Any opportunity to spend with his family Robert would cherish every moment of it. Robert was also a huge Denver Broncos fan, he never missed a game! Robert's family, friends and community grieve his passing.
Robert is survived by his mother, Mary Jane Alvarado, his wife, Regina A. Alvarado, daughters; Roni-Ann Olivas, Victoria Perez, Savannah Silva, Anja-Lea Muniz, step-son, Orlando Olivas, brothers; Joe Angel Alvarado, Johnny Francisco Alvarado, Pete M. Bautista, Ronnie J Alvarado, sister; Melanie Collins, Melissa Cordova, Amy Sandoval and 16 loving grandchildren.
Robert is preceded in death by his father Fidel Sandoval.
