Richard "Rick" Futch

August 22, 1962 ~ June 4, 2011

Rick Futch, age 48, passed away on June 4, 2011. He was born August 22, 1962 to Nyrene (Eby) and Phil Futch in Sterling. He attended school in Sterling. He moved to Greeley in the early 1990’s and in 1998, he married Debra Cashatt Bowman.

Rick worked in Landscaping and steel work. He was a handyman and enjoyed spending time in his garage with his hotrods and Harley’s. He loved life and cherished his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife Deb of Greeley; daughters, Jessica Choquette of Kenesaw, Nebraska, and Leigh Ann Wilson of Twin Falls, Idaho; step-daughters, Krissa Matt of Greeley, Jenna Bowman of Weber, Texas, Laura Cunningham of Beaufort, South Carolina; daughter by choice, Mandi Bugg of Sterling; 7 grandchildren; mother Nyrene of Greeley; father Phil of Sarasota, Florida; sisters, Valerie Bell, and Cindy Futch both of Greeley; brothers, Cliff Futch of Greeley, Lyle of New York and John of Sterling, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Rick’s life will be 2 p.m. Saturday, June 18, 2011 at Stoddard Funeral Home.
