Wanted to be there but could not.  Larry was one of my best friends and seen Dick always at King Soopers and he always said hello.  May God be your strenght in the times ahead.

I am sorry for your loss.  I knew Dick from Woodward and Bowlling.  He was always willing to help with a smile.  He will be missed.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this most difficult time.

I'm very sorry to hear of Richard's passing. I got to know him through AHSGR and I know his brother Ken as well. I hope that his passing was easy. I'll miss seeing him at the conventions.

I am so sorry for your loss. i know he will be truly missed. My thought and prayers are with you all.

It is unfortunate that distance has kept us from visiting but his religious, political or humorus emails plus his yearly letters or phone calls will be missed. We shared a once in a lifetime great adventure on the unique USSG Barbero, memories of which I treasure. We have been blest with knowing him. May the good Lord take him and give comfort to you. I met Dick at Coin Club in the 70s,and he has been missed there.
I am sorry he passed so young. My deepist sympathy to the Family.

My condolences to your and your children. I am so sorry for your loss.  We will miss Dick in the Northern Colorado Chapter meetings of AHSGR and will mourn the loss of such a valued village coordinator throughout the International AHSGR organization. My last memory of Dick will be of him at the village night in December trying to help other people find their family information.

We worked with Dick, and are sorry for your loss.  Sam remembers shortly after we moved to Colorado from Wisconsin (1975) that Dick gave him and our neighbor directions to Lake Agnes.  They had a hard time finding it, but still remember the beauty of it when all of a sudden, there is was.

So sorry for the loss of such a special guy. Dick what always there for me at work and at home he fixed many things for me and taught me many important life issues. Will miss him. Randy Schwindt.

Dick Leffler was a most excellent Village Coordinator (VC) for the village of Doenhof. He maintained a village database and was responsible for the purchase and translation of the 1857 Doenhof Census. He shared his data freely, and to his credit, without thought of recompense.
  My condolences to his wife Judy and his children and grandchildren. I will miss him too.
