Ramon Rodríguez Corral, 88, was born on July 26, 1935, to Cruz Rodríguez Y Marcelina Corral Flores in San Andrés, Riva Palacio Chihuahua México. He passed away on Sunday March 24th, 2024, at NCMC in Greeley Colorado surrounded by his family.
Ramon was raised in San Andres Riva Palacio where he was born. He was that man that would wake up early hours and go take care of his cattle and would enjoy riding his horse which he named EL Chamuco. He also enjoyed hunting. Ramon was a hard worker, and he was a great Charro. He and his younger brother enjoyed horses and would train wild ones and loved going to coleaderos (tail pulling) events and would pay musicians to play so they could dance and have a good time. After his early rides, his mother would wait for him with coffee with pinole de tortilla which was his favorite drink in the mornings. He also enjoyed going to The Plaza of his town to hang out with his friends, and in the evenings, he would sit on the sidewalk and enjoy a chat with his family. He was a person who loved life and enjoyed being with family.
In 1960 he married Maria Ontiveros in La Despedida, Riva Palacio, Chihuahua, México. The had 6 sons and 6 daughters. They enjoyed their big family.
Ramon would immigrate to the United States of America to work because he wanted to give his family a better life. In San Adres Riva Palacio he also worked hard in the agricultural. He would wake up early hours everyday to work and enjoyed riding his horse. He was a person that loved animals an loved the agricultural. His favorite food was burritos of chile rellenos that his daughter Cristina would often make for him because he would always ask for that and don’t forget the sausage mc griddle and coffee from McDonald’s. One more thing he always wanted Advil the little red pill as he would call it because he would say that would calm his pain in his back. He was grouch at times but always had a loving heart.
Ramon loved his children very much and especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. His had a special bond when it came to his patitos (twin grandchildren) when Jacob and Lucas would walk in boy would his face light up and his smile was ear to ear. He also had a partner in crime who was his grandson, Adrian. Adrian had a kid’s mechanical shop and grandpa was his big helper so on their little breaks Adrian would take him candys and coke which was bad for them, but Adriancito as they would call him, would always make sure his grandpa had his sweets. Ramon also called Adriancito his Caporal. He truly loved all his grandchildren and great grandchildren as he would often ask for them and when they would visit him, he was so happy. He loved it when people visited him it would give him life.
He is survived by his daughters: Rosa of Chihuahua MX, Piedad of Fort Worth TX, Teresa of Denver CO, Cristina of Greeley CO, and Alejandra of Grand Prairie TX, his sons: Horacio of LaSalle CO, Ramon Fernando of Windsor CO, Gonzalo of Greeley CO, Rigoberto of Denver CO, Cruz of Chihuahua MX, and Cesar Israel of LaSalle CO. Grand Children: Luis Arturo Fuentes, Sigifredo, Adriana and Deo Alexis Aguirre, Fernanda and Victoria Villalobos, Oscar Rene Chávez, Mayra and Iván Rodríguez, Mariela, Fernando Jr., Daniel, and Isabel Rodríguez, Bianca Jassamyn, Gonzalo Jr., and Nikomy Rodriguez, Vanessa, Michelle, and Rigoberto Jr. Rodríguez, Ramon, Yahir, Yatziry and Dona Paola Rodríguez, Cesar Israel Jr., Sebastián Daniel, Mackenzie Aidan, Mackaila Alexa, Jacob Israel, and Lucas Efrén Rodríguez, Betsy Alejandra, and Mariana Ruiz. Great Grandchildren: Noe Sebastián Ortega, Kamila Acosta, Luis Eduardo, Luis Fernando and Isabella Fuentes. His Sisters: Elvira, Petra, Cruz, Rosario, and Juana.
He is preceded in death by his wife Maria Ontiveros de Rodriguez, his daughter: Dora Luz Rodriguez, his parents: Marcelina and Cruz Rodriguez, his brothers: Gregorio, Juan, and Librado Rodriguez and sister: Atocha Rodriguez

Ramón Rodríguez Corral, de 88 años, nació el 26 de Julio del 1935, a Cruz Rodríguez y Marcelina Corral Flores, en San Andrés, Riva Palacio, Chihuahua, México. Falleció el Domingo 24 de Marzo de 2024 en NCMC en Greeley, Colorado, rodeado de su familia.
Ramón se crio en San Andrés Riva Palacio, donde nació. Era ese hombre que se levantaba temprano y iba a cuidar de su ganado y disfrutaba montar a caballo que lo nombro EL Chamuco. También le gustaba ir de cazaría. Ramón era un gran trabajador, y un gran charro. A él y a su hermano menor les gustaban los caballos y entrenaban a los salvajes y les encantaba ir a eventos de coleaderos y también pagaban a los músicos para que tocaran y pudieran bailar y pasar un buen rato. Después de sus primeros paseos, su madre lo esperaba con un café con pinole de tortilla, que era su bebida favorita por las mañanas. También le gustaba ir a la Plaza de su pueblo para pasar el rato con sus amigos, y por las tardes se sentaba en la banqueta y disfrutaba de una charla con su familia. Era una persona que amaba la vida y disfrutaba estar con su familia.
En 1960 se casó con María Ontiveros en La Despedida, Riva Palacio, Chihuahua, México. Tuvieron 6 hijos y 6 hijas. Disfrutaban de su gran familia.
Ramón emigraba a los Estados Unidos de América para trabajar porque quería darle a su familia una vida mejor. En San Adres, Riva Palacio también trabajó en la agricultura. Se levantaba temprano todos los días para ir a trabajar y disfrutaba montar a su caballo. Era una persona que amaba a los animales y amaba la agricultura. Su comida favorita eran los burritos de chile relleno que su hija Cristina le preparaba porque siempre se lo pedía y no olviden el mc griddle de salchicha y café de McDonald's. Una cosa más siempre quiso Advil, la pequeña píldora roja, como él la llamaba, porque decía que eso le calmaba su dolor en la espalda. Era corajudo a veces, pero siempre con un gran corazón.
Ramón amaba mucho a sus hijos y especialmente a sus nietos y bisnietos. Tenía algo especial cuando se trataba de sus patitos (nietos cuates) cuando Jacob y Lucas entraban, su rostro se iluminaba y su sonrisa era de oreja a oreja. También tenía un cómplice en el crimen que era su nieto Adrián. Adrián tenía un taller mecánico para niños y el abuelo era su gran ayudante, así que en sus pequeños descansos Adrián le llevaba dulces y coca-cola que era malo para ellos, pero Adriancito, como lo llamaban, siempre se aseguraba de que su abuelo tuviera sus dulces. Ramón también llamaba a Adriancito su Caporal. Él amaba a todos sus nietos y bisnietos cuando lo visitaban, estaba muy feliz.
Le sobreviven sus hijas: Rosa de Chihuahua MX, Piedad de Fort Worth TX, Teresa de Denver CO, Cristina de Greeley CO y Alejandra de Grand Praire TX, sus hijos: Horacio de LaSalle CO, Ramón Fernando de Windsor CO, Gonzalo de Greeley CO, Rigoberto de Denver CO, Cruz de Chihuahua MX y Cesar Israel de LaSalle CO, sus nietos: Luis Arturo Fuentes, Sigifredo, Adriana y Deo Alexis Aguirre, Fernanda y Victoria Villalobos, Oscar René Chávez, Mayra e Iván Rodríguez, Mariela, Fernando Jr., Daniel, y Isabel Rodríguez, Bianca Jassamyn, Gonzalo Jr. y Nikomy Rodríguez, Vanessa, Michelle y Rigoberto Jr. Rodríguez, Ramón, Yahir, Yatziry y Doña Paola Rodríguez, César Israel Jr., Sebastián Daniel, Mackenzie Aidan, Mackaila Alexa, Jacob Israel y Lucas Efrén Rodríguez, Betsy Alejandra y Mariana Ruiz, bisnietos: Noe Sebastián Ortega, Kamila Acosta, Luis Eduardo, Luis Fernando y Isabella Fuentes. La recepción del rosario para el Sr. Ramon Rodriguez Corral se realizara el Miércoles, 3 de Abril del 2024 a las 4:00pm, 6521 W. 20th Street, Greeley, CO 80634. La misa se llevara a cabo el jueves, 4 de Abril del 2024 a las 11:00 am en St. Mary Catholic Church, 2222 23rd Avenue, Greeley, CO 80634.
