Petra "Patty" Hernandez

Patty was raised in Greeley. In 1950, she married Jose Hernandez. Patty worked at a Turkey plant in Longmont and in the packing house at Monfort. She was an Environmental Specialist most of her life.

Patty was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church. She loved to crochet and sew. Camping and fishing were among the many adventures Patty had in her life. She loved to can peaches and was famous for her tortillas.

Most of all, Patty loved her family, especially her grandbabies, great-grandbabies and great-great-grandbabies.

Patty is survived by her daughters, Barbara Moreno and Andrea Hernandez; son, Joe Hernandez, Jr.; sister, Mary Hernandez; eight grandchildren, Robert Moreno, Joel Moreno, Joyce Moreno, Roshel Hernandez, Josephine Hernandez, Alisa Galindo, Theresa Sapp and Jose Hernandez; 22 great-grandchildren, Jose Moreno, Thomas Moreno, Rosie Moreno, Natalie Moreno, Robert Moreno, Isaac Moreno, Andrew Torres, Barbara Torres, Miguel Moreno, Jade Moreno, Michael Shaffer, Jordun Sapp, Haley Sapp, David Sapp, Jr., Isaac Hernandez, Joshua Hernandez, Matthew Hernandez, Steven R. Hernandez, Adrian I. Martinez, Nickolas G. Gutierrez, Antnony Jasso and Brittney Jasso and 19 great-great-grandchildren, Isabella Moreno, Sophia Moreno, Calvin Moreno, Chloe Moreno, Zoe Moreno, Kenneth Moreno, Aneaya Hernandez, Raelynn Martinez, Ilea Hernandez, Steven Hernandez, Jr., Joseph Hernandez, Evangeline Hernandez, Sabastian Hernandez, Sabine Hernandez, Malakai, Annatasia and Frank Jasso and Dominic, Dayson and Donovan Jasso.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jose Hernandez, Sr.

Visitation will be from 9:00-11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 12, 2022 followed by Recitation of the Rosary at 11:00 a.m. and a Liturgical Service at 11:30 a.m. all at Stoddard Funeral Home.
