Paula Garcia

Paula Garcia, 96 of Greeley, passed away at her home on January 15, 2020. Paula was born January 25, 1923 in Texas to Sara (Sanchez) and Gillermo Garcia. She married Francisco Bautista in 1939. He died in 1979.

Paula was a homemaker who loved caring for her family. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing and making quilts. She was a member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Greeley.

She is survived by her husband, Arturo Cantu; sons, Jesus, Juan and Robert Bautista; daughters, Maria Rodriguez, Frances Ponce and Edith (Irene) Bautista; as well as 29 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Francisco, daughter Felicita Voss and son Jose Bautista.

Visitation will be held from 1-3:00 P.M., Rosary from 3-4:00 P.M., on Friday, January 17, 2020 at the Allnutt Macy Chapel, 6521 W. 20th Street, Greeley. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 9:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church. Interment at Sunset Memorial Gardens immediately following Mass.
