Patty Hall Mills, 69, formerly of Sterling, died on May 1, 2020, at her home in Platteville, Colorado. She was born on August 25, 1950, in Sterling to Don and Helen (Florom) Hall.

She attended Sterling schools until her Junior year, then graduated from Fleming High School in 1968. She lived and worked in Sterling, where she married David L. Mills in 1975.

She is survived by Dave, her husband of 45 years, and special companion dog, Poppy; sisters Ginny Fortune of Greeley; Katie Brittain of Sterling; brother, Mike Hall of Loveland and six nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Linda Hall, and two beloved guide dogs, Jigsaw and Hexie.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Guide Dogs for the Blind or the Juvenile Diabetes Association.
