Michael Christopher “Mike” Kronick, 62, of Greeley, passed away Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at his home. He was born April 23, 1958 in St. Paul, Minnesota to Richard Joseph and JoAnn B. (Reynolds) Kronick.
Mike lived most of his life in Greeley. He graduated from Greeley West High School in 1977. While attending Greeley West, Mike played baseball and football and was recognized as an All-State Athlete. After graduating High School, he attended Aims Community College where he earned his degree in Associate of Arts and Science – Liberal Arts. It was during college, Mike really picked up a golf club and taught himself the game. His family and friends would tell you, if you need to find Mike, just call the golf course. Mike also enjoyed softball, bowling, camping, fishing and hunting with his friends. Mike worked for State Farm Insurance as an Administrated Services Technician for over 40 years.
He will be remembered for his natural athletic ability, work ethic, spirited sense of humor and his kind heart. Mike made his impression on us with his basic goodness and the generosity of his character. He was a loved son, brother, uncle, God Father and friend.
Mike is survived by his mother, JoAnn B. Kronick of Greeley, his sisters Kristin Kronick of Aurora, CO and Margaret Scott of Wichita, KS. Nephew and nieces, Brian (Sydney) Wiedeman of Barksdale AFB, LA, Karli (Andrew) Lamb of Ft Collins, CO, Haley (Conner) Roggy of Denver, CO, and Amanda (Jared) Leland of Bentley, KS and four Great Grand Nieces.
Mike is preceded in death by his father, Richard Joseph Kronick and his sister Roberta “Bobbi” Wiedeman.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
