Michael L. Kanzler, 63, of Fort Morgan, Colorado, died Thursday, February 4, 2021 in Greeley, CO, at North Colorado Medical Center. Michael was born July 17, 1957 in Greeley to Henry and Mildred (Courtney) Kanzler. He married Terry Escudero on August 7, 2004 in Leadville, CO. Terry recently passed away on November 24, 2020.
Michael graduated from Wiggins High School in 1975 and earned his Master’s degree from UNC in 2015. He worked for 20 years as a mechanic, but he also worked in the Health Care industry as a counselor helping to rehabilitate people back into the workforce. He loved to help people.
Michael enjoyed riding and working on motorcycles, woodworking and had a passion for the Black Hills. He frequented Sturgis many times over the last 15 years.
He is survived by his daughter Rebecca Miller; step-sons Heath and Clifford; brother, Darryl (Barbara) Kanzler; grandchildren True Miller, Hannah Miller, Nealy Miller and Courtney Hatch.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and by his wife Terry.
Services will be held at Morgan Church of the Nazarene on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at 1:00 P.M.
