Martha and family,

I am absolutely stunned, as I am sure all of you are!  So  sorry to learn of Mike's passing.    I only met him once or twice, as my connection was/is with Martha.  My sincere sympathy to everyone.  I know he will be missed!

Mr. Fosdick was one of my favorite teachers. He really got me excited about science and helped instill a passion for all learning. I can still picture his miles of notes on the chalkboard in biology. By having to write all of the notes by hand my retention of information in his class was always the best by far. I'm so very sad to hear of his tragic passing but I'm comforted by the knowledge that he was still out there doing for others as he had always done. I was a fortunate to have been mentored by such an extraordinary person and his influence on my life exists to this day. Mt deepest sympathies Fosdick family and my sincerest thanks for the time I got to spend with Mike.
