Mary Reiff passed away on March 23, 2021 at the age of 84. She was born in Ponca City, Oklahoma to O.B. and Sarah Macy. After graduating from Emporia State University, she began her teaching career outside of Wichita. She married Wayne Reiff on May 7, 1964 and moved to Greeley. Together, they have three children.
Mary was a strong lady who loved the Lord, her family, music, and politics. The order of the last three may have changed depending on the behavior of the kids… but her love for the Lord was always first. Mary was actively involved in the Nazarene churches in Greeley with music being a key part of her ministry. Her love of politics led her to work for the Weld County Election Department which she retired from in 1999. A good portion of her retirement years were spent in their travel trailer in various volunteer adventures-from helping construct churches to youth camp ministries.
Mary will be welcomed into heaven by her parents, four siblings and many friends who have preceded her. She is survived by her husband Wayne, three children; Jolene (Mike) Johnson, Gerald (Theyah) Reiff, and Marsha (Allan) Walts; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, March 28, 2021 at Allnutt Funeral Service, Macy Chapel from 2-4:00 P.M. Services will be held on Monday, March 29, 2021 at the First Nazarene of Greeley at from 3:00 P.M.
