Mary Louise Figgs

Mary graduated from Hayden High School in Topeka, Kansas. In 1952 she married Don E. Figgs in Topeka, Kansas. They resided in Dallas, Texas where she worked for a judge. She returned in Topeka, Kansas to raise her growing family, then moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado in 1973. Mary worked as a food service manager at Fort Carson until she retired in 1999. She was awarded numerous certificates of recognition for her service. In 2000 she and Don moved to Greeley to be closer to family. Mary was a member of Calvary Chapel Greeley.

Mary volunteered at the gift shop at North Colorado Medical Center. She also rocked premature babies in the NICU at NCMC. She loved to bake birthday cakes for her grandchildren. She enjoyed painting, especially with her great granddaughter, and having coffee with her grandson. She also enjoyed traveling with her daughter.

Mary is survived by her children, Danial Figgs of Greeley, Jean Davis and her husband Bob of Coeur d’ Alene, Jeff Figgs and his wife Susan of Greeley, and John Figgs and his wife Rebecca of Greeley; and 2 sisters Agnes Pringle and Jeanette Loftin; 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Alan Dale, one brother and a sister.
