Linda Diane Bernhardt, 69, passed away on July 3rd 2022. Born on January 21st 1953 to Vada Church and Harold Johnson in Aurora Nebraska. Linda and her family moved to Colorado when she was a young child. Linda attended Roosevelt High School in Johnstown, graduating in 1971. On July 10th, 1971 Linda married David Bernhardt.
Linda was very involved with her family. She helped milk cows, drive tractors, drive trucks and “was an awesome wife, mother and woman” many say. She enjoyed crafts, mainly crocheting and cooking anything from scratch. Linda loved her family and grand kids. Her granddaughter Alyiah loved having baking contests with her. Alyiah would say, “I can out bake you, Nana!” to which she would reply “Good! That means I don’t have to do it!”
Linda is survived by her husband, David Bernhardt, daughters; Lyndsey Long (Clifton), Michelle Nowlen (Mike), Melody Couch (Wes), sister, LaDonna Johnson, grandchildren, Nickolas Long, Nicky Murray (Jesse), Zachary Chambers, Bella Couch, Gabby Couch, Alex Couch, Jules Couch, great-grandchildren; Malina Murray, Kynzlie Murray, Danaca Murray, Mac Murray, brother-in-laws; Tim Bernhardt (Mena), Jerry Bernhardt (Marge), sister-in-law; Charlene Michaels (Steve), along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Linda is preceded in death by her father; Harold Johnson, mother; Vada Johnson and granddaughter; Alyiah Long.

A Visitation will be held at Allnutt Funeral Service Macy Chapel, 6521 W. 20th Street in Greeley, on July 11th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at Allnutt Funeral Service Macy Chapel, 6521 W. 20th Street in Greeley, on July 12th at 10:00 a.m., burial at Johnstown Cemetery, with a reception at the Milliken Town Hall to follow.
