Lea Ann Kuzik

Raised in Greeley, Lea was a 1978 graduate of Greeley Central High School. She married Steven Kuzik on July 3, 1982 and the couple had two sons, Taylor and Joshuah, who they loved so much. She enjoyed watching Josh play soccer and enjoyed Taylor’s great art work! Lea worked for the Weld County Court System for many years as a Court Judicial Assistant. She retired in 2013.

Lea was extremely active and loved working out, she was a runner and competed in several 5k runs. The entire family enjoyed working out in their home gym. She was a gardener and enjoyed planting flowers and improving the landscape of her home. She was always present and cheered on her grandsons in their sporting events. Lea was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many.

Lea is survived by her son, Taylor Kuzik, grandchildren, Jayden and Nikolas Kuzik, brother, Mark Casseday, sister, Joanie and husband, Bill Markley, mother-in-law, Connie Kuzik, daughter-in-law, Cassie Ravithis and her husband, Chris McInvale, brother-in-law, Michael and his wife, Jen Kuzik, and sister-in-law Tara and her husband, Tony Cominsky, as well as several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and a great-great niece.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Steve, her son, Joshuah Kuzik, parents, Max and Joyce Casseday, Lea’s father-in-law, Michael Kuzik.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at the First United Methodist Church. 917 10th Ave, Greeley, at 11:00 am, inurnment will take place at Linn Grove Cemetery.
