Larry Becker

Larry Ray Becker, 69, passed away March 14, 2016 at Poudre Valley Hospital. He was born on December 1, 1946 to Raymond and Eleanor Becker and was raised in Fort Collins. He graduated from Fort Collins High School and Colorado State University where he received a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He attended the University of Berkley where he majored in Nuclear Engineering. After working in various places throughout the United States, his love for Colorado called him back to Fort Collins. He worked as a custodian for Colorado State University where he met the love of his life, Ellen Evans. They were married on February 14, 2004. Larry loved the outdoors. He loved spending time fishing with Ellen and his nephews, Christopher and Cody. He loved taking photos and took many of the mountains during his camping and hiking trips. Having his family close was important to him and he spent a lot of time with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Ellen; father, Raymond Becker; sister, Marilyn (Mike); nephews, Christopher Krueger and Cody (Sarah) Krueger; step-daughter, Sarah Evans; step-son, Matthew Evans; granddaughter, Annabelle Evans-Weaver. He was preceded in death by his mother, Eleanor; and his grandparents.

Visitation from 12:00-1:00 p.m. with the service following at 1:00pm on Friday, March 18, 2016 at Allnutt Funeral Services, 650 W. Drake Rd, Fort Collins, CO. Memorial contributions may be made in Larry’s name to Alcoholic Anonymous in care of Allnutt Funeral Service.
