at the age of 47, from complications of Covid. Services will be held at
Allnutt Funeral Service - Macy Chapel, 6521 W. 20th, in Greeley on
Tuesday, November 30, at 11 a.m.
Kris was raised in Greeley, and graduated high school from Greeley Central
where he played football and ran track. He met Dawn Bebout who was from
Riverton, Wyoming, in 2006. Kris and Dawn married on June 14, 2008 and they
have continued to live in Greeley the past 15 years. He and his former wife, Loree,
had three children, Bryon Kristofer, Brandon Keegan, and Baylee Paige.
There were many things Kris enjoyed – painting, playing guitar and “D-J’ing”;
playing golf, traveling, hunting, fishing and camping, watching sports on TV and
spending time with his kids and grandkids. Kris worked in the oil field for many
years where he was employed by Whiting Petroleum. Most recently, he worked for
Loveland Ready Mix.
Kris is survived by his wife Dawn, children Bryon and Baylee, his brothers
Rik (Christina), Brett (Mandee) and Craig (Jolyn) Walter and their children, his
father Curtis and stepmother Cheryl Walter, and numerous nieces and nephews. He
is predeceased by his son, Brandon Keegan Walter, and his mother Nancy Lea
Walter.
