Josefina Dora Parra

By the year 1975, she became a resident of the United States. She had lived in the city of El Cajon, California until 2014, when she moved to the beautiful state of Colorado. Josefina loved to sing, dance, read and most of all she loved to pray her prayers with her rosary.

She had a total of three girls: Melina Rojas married to Angel Rojas, Jessica Velasquez married to Angela (Angel) Velasquez, and Roxanna Jacobo. She had one loving sister, Maria Angelina Gonzalez, who had three children, Josefina’s nieces and nephew, Oliva, Alex and Vanessa. She was loved not only by her daughters, but also had the love of her grandchildren, Gilbert, Ismael, Angel, Angelina, Michael, Justin, Cassandra, and Jasmine and great-grandchildren, Gabriel, Lorenzo, Cassius, Mia, and Noah, who brought her lots of joy in all the hard times.

She always made sure to do for others and her family, she had a very huge and loving heart and soul; her family and friends will always remember her and love her.

A graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 18, 2019 at Evans Cemetery.
