Hello Johnny I know I haven't written as often as I should but that doesn't mean I don't think of you, Tommy, Uncle Johnny and Aunt Ramona all the time. I just want to let it be known that I still am not alright with the fact I couldn't make it to your funeral. I' M SO SORRY COUSIN. All of us growing up were such a tight family and we had so many memories that I will cherish!! One that stands out the most is how much I looked up to you and Tommy and I wanted to be like both of you. But the memory I remember was at Elitches a  couple of my buddies were there with their older brothers and they thought they were so big and bad on the machine where you see how hard you can hit by punching the little speed bag. They thought that until the both of you almost knocked the machine out of the building!! That was awesome. I MISS YOU so much Johnny and will always love you!! Tommy I know you are reading this and I know the pain I feel over Johnny so that is nowhere in comparison to the pain you feel and I want you to know I love you primo!! And I still look up to you and you are still one of my childhood heros!! I miss you Tommy and your mom and dad please give them my love from all of us!! God bless all of you and take care.

Johnny, I think of you everyday and see your picture everyday.  You will never never be forgotten.  I miss you so much because I have stuff to tell you that only you would understand or find funny.  Your room is clean and I hate going in there but it seems that when I go over there, I have to go spend time there with you, look at your chair, your bed, your TV, you message board with your handwriting and all your boats and stuff you painted.  I would do anything to bring you back for just a minute so I can at least tell you goodbye and how much I love you and how thankful I am to have a brother like you.  I dream about you a lot now. Hey Johnny. Well we went through all the birthdays in August.  I missed you a lot on my birthday and keep thinking of your voice telling me happy birthday.  I don't want to forget your voice.  It's hard Johnny you not being here. You were more than my brother.  I am having a hard time bringing myself to bury you.  Right now you are on your recliner in your room and that's how I like it.  I know I have to do it but I have been avoiding it for a while now.  I miss you and want that phone to ring at work and hear your voice.  I took it for granted when you called me here at work.  It always seemed I was too busy to just talk a while with you.  I am sorry for that and I hope you forgive me for not taking more time to just talk and not care about work and other stuff getting in the way.  I love you Johnny and I miss you every minute of everyday and that will not change.

Johnny, I have been thinking of you all day and it's hard to work.  I know you would tell me to be strong.  You were the one that would tell me the things I needed to hear and I will miss that.  Your cat has been hanging around at the house looking for you.

Johnny, I miss you. I keep thinking of all the times we spent together. This morning I had tears in my eyes missing you , I started to gaze out my office window so my co-workers  wouldn't see me cry.. All of a sudden a bird hit the window really hard and was stumbling around the grass but was staring at me, I laughed :) it was like you saw me and wanted me to laugh, think of the happy times like when I had my 1st apartment when I was 18 and you and Tommy were always at my house. I was so broke living and working on my own that you would offer me rides in the morning to work because I had no gas money... I even remember a few times you used your triple AAA because I had no gas and they would come to my house and put 5 gallons of gas in my car . I love you Johnny I miss how you would say "Ooo Yes Kristinia " or the famous "Ahh" you know how our family would do it.

My prayers to the Lopez family. This is such a shock to all of use that knew and loved him. Sitting at the funeral today I couldn't even believe it was real. Johnny will always be that handsome funny 17 year old kid in my heart. He was my first love and took me on my very first date :).  He will be missed by many.

I don't even know where to start with this. I am so very saddened that you were taken from our lives way too soon. Thank you for always being such a wonderful dad to our daughter Xoie and also always considering Max and Romeo as part of your family. There are so many things I wish I could say to you that I didn't get a chance to tell you while you were still with us. I'm sorry for all the not so good times we went through but in the end I am glad that we were good friends. You were always there for my family when we needed you. You helped my dad through his cancer and even went above and beyond to ensure he was comfortable through it all. You were so kind hearted and would literally give the shirt off your back to anyone. Your heart was so big and honest. I still remember you going to see me in the hospital when I was sick despite the fact that you yourself had just had surgery that day. That is just how nice and selfless of a person you always were. I pray that our baby girl is just like you! I take comfort in knowing that you are no longer in pain. I know that you will watch over our daughter and our entire family. You will be missed! Thank you for giving me one of the greatest gifts in my life and that is our daughter Xoie. Please watch over her and guide her to make good decisions. Give my grandparents and yours a big hug from us!

I was saddened to hear of your passing..but my heart is comforted to know you are healed!! I love you and Tommy and your fantastic parents. Johnny you will be greatly missed ! I am thankfull that our family was such a close knit family. Because of this I have many memories. The last few days those memories dance through my head. I am so proud to call you my brother.  We grew up playing with our GI Joes and toy soldiers.  We would still talk about our childhood and going to the swimming pool everyday during the summer. I really can't find the words right now and I just hope you knew how proud I was of you and how much I loved you as a brother.  Thanks for letting me watch my football games with you.  You were so giving.  I would ask for the score for one game and you would write for me all the scores of the day. I ask you for one flash light and you wanted to give me five.  I asked where the bread was at and you would end up making me a deluxe dinner with all the trimmings.  I would shake my head sometimes at all the things you would carve but I knew you loved doing it and now I treasure the last stick you made for my boat that day.  Thank you for all your help as you were always willing to help your big brother.  I am proud of you Johnny and this is hard but I am content that you feel no pain.  Thank you for being such a good brother, father and son. I will miss you everyday.

Johnny has been in my thoughts, since I heard the news. Particularly last night as memories came flooding in of spending time together with him and Tommy as cousins when we were much younger.
