At sixteen years old, Johnny moved to Eaton, Colorado to live with his aunt, Mary Harsh on her farm. He also lived in various host homes in the Greeley area.
He had a loving and fun nature, his sense of humor was extremely playful and ornery. He loved to work, he enjoyed taking care of the farm animals and bringing home a hard earned paycheck from Hillside Rentals. Johnny loved his family, the Lord, the Denver Broncos and riding around in his golf cart. His passion was spending time outdoors, hunting and fishing and embellishing the stories of the hunt.
Johnny is survived by Mary Harsh’s children, his cousins, Daniel Harsh, Jim Harsh, Janis Woods and Karen Oltman, two nephews, James Woody and Joel Woody.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Joan Woody, his aunt, Mary Harsh, and his cousin, Arlis Rice and a niece Theresa Trammel.
A public visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 2, at Allnutt Macy Chapel at 6 pm.
