My condolences to your family. May you maintain hope for a brighter future through the sorrow. At such times, I find reflecting on God's Word to be comforting. ""Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those in any sort of tribulation through the comfort with which we ourselves are being comforted by God."" 2 Corinthians 1:3,4. The Bible calls death an enemy, and God promises to destroy this enemy once and for all at 1 Corinthians 15:26 the Bible teaches ""As the last enemy, death is to be brought to nothing."" and he promises that the dead will live again by mean of the resurrection. -Isaiah 26:19
