Joe O Breitenstein

Joe Orren Breitenstein, 89, of Greeley, passed away Monday, September 22, 2014 at North Colorado Medical Center. Joe was born on July 27, 1925 in Guthrie Center, Iowa to Frances and Emma (Patterson) Breitenstein.

Joe graduated from Guthrie Center and went on to attend Drake University. He worked in transportation all his working life and retired from Monfort.

Joe enlisted in the US Navy after high school. He loved to golf, family vacations and was a dedicated husband and father.

Joe is survived by his wife, Joyce Breitenstein; two daughters, Tina Marie Lewis and Pam English; four grandchildren, Billy English, Melissa Engilsh, Carli Lewis and Brandon Lewis and three great-grandchildren, Kaydence Lewis, Michaela English and Joshua English.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and two brothers.

A Celebration of Life will be at 4:00 p.m. Friday, September 26, 2014 at Stoddard Funeral Home.
