Jerad is one of four brothers and moved to Colorado in 2006 to join them and start his career when he obtained his CDL. This is where he met his wife Ashlee. After meeting in 2008 they got married June 18th, 2016. They had two children, Vera Stenson was born in 2009 and Dylan Stenson in 2014. Jerad was a larger than life personality that caused people to gravitate to him. His dedication and stubbornness made lasting impressions on anyone who met him. He was outspoken and intelligent. He loved working with his hands and there was never a task he wouldn’t tackle. He would study any interest of his until he mastered it. This was shown in many of his hobbies. Cooking and grilling was probably at the top of his list. He loved food almost as much as he loved feeding others the things he smoked or grilled for family functions. He loved working on cars and bikes. There was never a shortage of projects for him to work on. He would clean and polish his Harley to a mirror finish simply to ride it to the store. Riding was a love of his. The freedom of the open road and the wind in his face gave him a peace that wasn’t always easy to come by. Being outside was a must for him. Fishing, hunting and camping were a common occurrence and something he looked forward to in the dreary winters here in Colorado. When he visited California, he never missed an opportunity to sink his toes into the sand at Newport Beach. Jerad was a simple man in a complicated world.
Jerad is survived by his father Jerry Stenson, his wife Ashlee, two children Vera and Dylan, three brothers Bryan, Josh, and CJ as well as many nieces and nephews. He is preceded by his mother Vivian Stenson.
