You would have been 52 years old this coming Wednesday, July 16th. Life is so strange without you and I still feel so lost. I've changed just about everything in my life, including home and job just to try and rebuild it. You will not be forgotten. I sure miss you.

Lit a candle in memory of Jeffrey L. Tyer

I am brother to Lorri, who is wife to Jeff Tyer, Sr. It has been a year now since I received that dreadful call in the very earlier hours of the day to hear the loss of my brother in law. I arrived at the house as soon as I could and did what I could to assist. I can say that it has been a rough year since then, but the family is pulling together. Jeff Sr would be happy to know how far we've come. I am glad to have known Jeff and wish I could of done more with Jeff when he was still alive. Only if I could have been half the man he was. Tomorrow the family will come together in mark of the 1st anniversary of Jeff's passing, as a remembrance and a celebration of his life. A man of honor and a man who will not be forgotten. It was an honor to have you as a brother!

I went to high school with Jeff, and remember him as being a kind and caring person.  My condolences to his family.

So sorry to hear of Jeff's passing. Growing up, he was always happy and uplifting. I will always carry those fond memories with me. God bless your family during this trying time.

We heard of Jeff's death from our son, Mike.  Jeff spent quite a bit of time at our home in East Bakersfield, Ca. with Mike, Mark & other guys.  He was such a sweet guy & so polite.  We are praying for you & the rest of the family.  We know we'll see him in heaven someday.  God's best to you.

Lori I was so sorry to hear of Jeff's passing. He was my best friend growing up and we had years of good times. As you know he was my best man in my wedding and I'm happy he was able to share that special event with me. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.

Thanks for calling us. Thanks for sharing about Jeff. You, he have left quite a legacy for others and the world around him. Never forget that! Last summer I was a patient at the CATH Lab. It is truly amazing how God places people in our lives if even for a brief time in order to share their lives with us.  I remember Mr. Tyer touching my life with joy and with his care.  I was very sad to hear of his passing.  I do pray that God will fill your void with His peace and may he turn your mourning into joy.  May the love and peace of Jesus be with you all in this time of loss.

The world is certainly a poorer place for the loss of Jeff.  I will miss his kindness and great smile.

I was very lucky to have Jeff take care of me, as a patient. I was honored that he trusted his care to us in Radiation Oncology,when he was a patient. He will be missed.

Lorri Jeff Dan, I have so many wonderful memories of Jeff growing up. We were so close as kids and he was always so laid back and forgiving as a kid. He truly was a great man. He always made time for me on the phone when I needed a cuz's advice. He always had a positive word for me, always looking on the positive side. Yes we all will have memories to cherish. My prayers are with you all during this time. I love you all so much, take this time to hold each other close.

We are completely devastated by the loss of one of the most AMAZING men we've ever known. I never got to meet Jeff, but I know his son Dan well. He went to high school with my youngest son. Even though I never met Jeff personally I can see through Dan that he was a wonderful Father and that he raise his children with love and respect and passed on to them a great legacy. Jeff was such a great man who loved his family SO much. I miss you big Jeff.

Jeff Jr., Daniel, Katlin and I will all take the podium and share a Celebration moment during the memorial. We want to celebrate Jeff's life and be as positive as possible as per his wishes. 

We can follow the example set by Jeff Sr. in his short 50 years on this earth. Live well, work hard, cherish the ones you love and make great memories with them! I never wanted to fall in love with a man, build a wonderful life with him only to have it all ripped away from me so soon. Would I do it again? Absolutely! That??Ts why the boys and I chose Garth Brook??Ts ??~The Dance??T song to express our feelings regarding our life with Dad. We wouldn??Tt change a thing! We are grateful to have Dad for as long as we did, creating great memories. Cancer can never, ever take that away from us!!
