Jeannette Mae Draper Anderson

June 22, 1930 – October 23, 2016

Jeannette Mae Draper was born June 22, 1930 in Colorado Springs, Colorado to Alice & Paul H. Draper, pharmacist & owner of Draper Drug Store in Loveland. She was the older of two children with brother, Paul H. “Buck” Draper Jr. Jeanette married Robert Lee “Andy” Anderson on August 21, 1949 in Loveland. Together they raised 3 sons & shared many wonderful times camping, fishing, traveling, gymkhanas, & water skiing. She was an outdoors-woman & was accomplished with a shotgun & on horseback, not to mention a set of golf clubs. Bridge was a passion & she still played weekly. She taught 5th grade for many years, loved gardening, was an excellent seamstress & a wonderful cook. She was generous to & very involved with her 4 grandchildren, keeping current on their busy lives. She was a fiercely independent & no-nonsense gal who loved her family with all her heart.

Predeceased by husband “Andy” (2004) & son Ronald Paul (2011). Survived by sons Kenneth Lee (Karen), and Clifford Edward (Claudia), & grandchildren Justin, Tyler, Cori, & Brandon.

Per Jeannette’s request, there will be no service or memorial & she has chosen a private family gathering. Donations in her memory may be made to a worthy charity of choice.
