Jane Rae Linn, 78, of Loveland, CO, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2017, in Loveland. Jane was born at her family farm May 11, 1938, along with her twin sister, June, to Elmer and Viola Fleugel-Messman in Dakota, Illinois. She grew up on a farm with her six siblings and also participated at her family-owned carnival, helping running a game booth. In 1955, she married her first husband, Rayburn Harmon, and had five kids: Susan, Judy, Randy, Shirley, Russell in Rockford, IL. They briefly lived in Downey, California, then moved to Colorado in 1969. She was a woman of many trades like taxi-driving, earthworm-selling, and working for companies like Lego and Loveland Old-Timer Packing Plant, before beginning her career at Hewlett-Packard, where she later retired in the late 90’s. It was there where she met Larry, her second husband and love of her life. After years of dating, they married in 2000.
Jane loved her family and did anything she could to support them throughout her life. In her retirement, she grew a passion for training and certifying her own therapy dog to help others. Her house was a common gathering place where the door was always open to family and friends alike.
