Jamie Renee Arreguin, 34, of Greeley, went to be with our Heavenly Father on September 3, 2021 with her mother by her side. Jamie was born October 15, 1986 in Greeley, Colorado to Gerald (Jerry) Ray and Antonia "Terri" Trujillo Arreguin.
Jamie grew up in Greeley, Colorado playing sports and spending time with her family. She spent her younger years at the softball field or gym watching her parents play softball and volleyball. Jamie attended Greeley West High School. She followed in her parent's footsteps and their love for softball. Jamie was a standout player on and off the field. She was not only a leader on the softball field, but was a member of the Greeley West Choir and Thespian club.
Jamie's talent in softball led her to McCook Community College where she graduated with an Associate's Degree. After college, Jamie continued her love of softball in Greeley through the adult league softball for many years, playing on several different teams. She continued to stay connected to the sport and returned to her alma mater as a softball coach.
Anyone who knew Jamie, also knew she was a singer with a voice that could not be described. She could sing anything from graceful "Amazing Grace", a soulful Etta James, or Spanish hit by Selena. She sang in countless personal gatherings, weddings, funerals and back yard BBQs. One of Jamie's largest performances was her lead role in Aida, at Greeley West High School. She took after her dad when it came to the piano and could play almost any song by ear.
Jamie's first and forever love was her son Braxton Ray, he mini-me. Braxton was the light of her life. Everything she did was for her son. Her love of softball/baseball was something they shared. You could find Jamie coaching at practices and on game nights keeping score. She was his biggest cheerleader.
Jamie was above all, a very loving mother, daughter, sister, "Nini", cousin and friend to many. Jamie was always strong and stood for what she believed.
Jamie is survived by her mother Antonia "Terri" Arreguin; son Braxton Mulder-Arreguin, sister Leah Frazier (Chad), niece Addison and nephew Joshua. She was preceded in death by her father Gerald "Jerry" Arreguin.
